Mix and Sift are mystical fungus creatures that pop up out of the ground every time it rains. 

Mix and Sift are made from translucent material so children can watch the composting process in their bellies. They have a variety of tools including sieves, mortar and pestle and scoops.

Mix and Sift are based on saprobic fungus characters that pop up after the rain. They are brightly coloured to reference the fungi that inspire the design. Together, they comprise the third quarter toy. Mix and Sift’s play focuses on transforming matter into soil or nutrients and mimics potion-making play. Both toys have a variety of actions within the toy, including sifting, mortar and pestle, liquid straining, scooping and scraping.
